I’m a misanthrope.

In fact, I’m at least 24 years-old (because I can’t be expected to update every internet profile of myself every birthday). And although I go by other names, such as MrStuy and The Misanthrope, my actual name is Stuart Collyer.

I’ve been writing on the internet for many years now. A majority of those years have been for my own benefit, a few were spent studying it at university, and only recently because I’ve actually been paid to do it. Yes, I do actually write as a profession, about fire safety regulations, business marketing, and very little in between. However, I have received acclaim from people who you wouldn’t have heard of.

I like to write, and I like to think that it can sometimes bring a wry smile to the occasional face. The Misanthrope (my own plot of land on the web) is full of such writings. It also includes awkward videos of myself and the occasional graphic designed for the intention of no-one to share.

More interestingly, I also have a passion for photography. I mainly like to capture beautiful landscapes and creatures, as well as focusing on tiny details. My aversion to people also translates into my photography, as humans appear only when strictly necessary.

Yes, everything I like to do centres around pressing buttons.
